This workbook focuses on recycling and circular economy through the transformation of PET bottles into 3D printing filament. Students explore sustainability issues related to plastic waste, responsible production and resource use, linking these topics to the Sustainable Development Goals.
The activities guide students through research on recycling processes, analysis of real-world examples, product ideation using recycled filament and basic 3D design concepts. The workbook also includes sections for prototyping, reflection on environmental impact and the use of artificial intelligence to improve and visualise product ideas.
